A simple guide to a/b testing

I think A/B testing within email is normally a waste of time for a few reasons…

  1. Are you actually going to do anything with the results?

  2. Are you testing just one variable?

  3. Do you know why you are testing?

  4. Is it even worth your time?

  5. Are you testing an automation, or a one-off email that could have external factors at play?

A/B tests can result in strategy improvements or iterations, but just be mindful if it’s really a good use of your time. Check out the below.
